Dotwalk Ajitara Art Residency is the flagship collaboration initiated by Gallery Dotwalk. The one-of-a-kind residency, located in the sprawling farmhouse of the Ajitara family, offers the most conducive environment to engage in artistic pursuits, away from all the chaos of the city. The residency provides dedicated studio spaces, co-working spaces, spacious bedrooms, a recreation room with audio and video facilities, a library, and a fully functional kitchen with pre-fixed menus. Dotwalk Ajitara Art Residency offers curated residency modules with various outreach programmes and unlike many residencies, the creative outputs lead to curated annual exhibitions.
Dotwalk Ajitara Art Residency aims to create a space that brings together diverse individuals and disciplines, fostering artistic exploration, education and community. We strive to inspire and empower all who enter our doors while promoting cultural understanding and embracing innovation. Our core principles include celebrating diversity in the arts, encouraging creative growth, facilitating collaborative exchange and promoting an environment of openness and progress, focusing specifically on contemporary painting and drawing practices.
